4 Legal Facts Every Indian Citizen Must Know

1. No Arrests on Video Calls

Under the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) and Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), police or investigation agencies can only serve summons or make arrests in person with physical identification.

2. No "Verification Accounts"

The Government of India and RBI do NOT maintain any accounts where citizens must deposit funds for "financial verification" or "clearing legal scrutiny." Any request to transfer money is 100% theft.

3. Courier Companies Don't Call Police

If a parcel contains contraband, customs seizes it and follows physical statutory procedures. Private courier companies (FedEx, DHL) never transfer customer calls to police interrogators.

4. Immediate 1930 & Chakshu Action
